Artist

My Name is Felix Heisig and I have been shooting photographs since 2015. I live in Ingelheim (Germany) near Frankfurt. My Passion is Nightscape Photography, especially capturing the Milkyway. I also like normal landscapes. To find more of my work, feel free to check out my, Instagram, Facebook, and Website.

About the Image

This picture was taken in Luxembourg at the Schießentümpel. It is a very beautiful area, especially for hiking. I decided to do a time-blending for the picture because it was a very stormy night and the trees and plants were completely blurred due to the movement.

Timeblending means that you photograph at different times. In this case, the foreground at the blue hour and the stars at night. The picture is an upright panorama and 4 pictures were taken across.

Equipment Used

The equipment was the Sony a7s for the stars and the Sony a7iii for the foreground. At Night, I always use my sony a7s because they are modified and optimized for low light photography. As for the lens, I used the Sigma 24-70, a very nice and sharp lens. I edited everything with Photoshop.
