The Ozark Mountains are home to stunning cliffs, lush forests, and rolling hills. This aerial footage highlights the wilderness areas of Northern Arkansas, showcasing varying landscapes, and beautifully timed autumn foliage in several natural and urban environments.

On this trip to a waterfall in Iceland, I wanted to record a cinematic video of this amazing waterfall and place. In this location with the waterfall I first set up my camera and tripod to take long exposures, then I walked down the canyon closer to the waterfall and saw this sick opening in the landscape and thought it would be cool going through that space with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro while taking a video. I did exactly that and was really happy with the results.

The Calm of the Air: A Highland Journey 4K was made in a schedule of 9 days in April 2019, using my own funding to travel and stay in Scotland. As an insight into the weather of Scotland in April, only 3 of the 9 days had overcast or sunny weather, the remainder was a mixture of drizzle or heavy rain. As a result, most of the film was shot during those 3 days, and opportunistic pauses in the rain otherwise.
